Haiyan,the super typhoon hit the coasts of Philippines devastating almost 90 percent of the structure and livelihood of the country.The typhoon affected about 9.5 million people in Philippines and killed over 10,000 people.More than 600,000 people left homeless and helpless without food and drinking water.The typhoon is the worst ever happened to the country after the Tsunami in 2004.

The coastal areas are completely destroyed and there is nothing much left in these areas.Countries from all over the world extended their help to the people of Philippines and several national and international organizations are actively participating in the search and rescue operations in Philippines.

How and Where to Donate for Haiyan Victims:

Countries from all over the world along with international human welfare organisations have been actively participating in the search and rescue operations in Philippines. There is lack of food and shelter for the survivors and the government is unable to provide the neccesary aid to the areas.

1.The American Red Cross:
