Google announced that their document editting app, the Quickoffice will be available free for everyone.Quickoffice can be used to edit the Microsoft documents.
Quickoffice was acquired by Google a year beforer and was launched exclusively for Google Apps for Business Users. Now Google has made it available for free to everyone and also with additional features.
The new Quickoffice will feature a new app icon,support chart viewing for Excel and PowerPoint files and also has the ability to create ZIP folders.
Apart from that Google also provides 10 GB of Google Drive storage for free for 2 years for those who sign in to Google account through the new Quickofice app.
The new Quickoffice app compatible with iPhone,iPod touch and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later will be available on the App store.
