Lionel Messi Bags FIFA Ballon d'Or 2012
Lionel Messi won the FIFA Player of the Year award 2012 ,the prestigious "FIFA Ballon d'Or " consecutively for the fourth year.

Messi was been elected in front of runner-up Cristiano Ronaldo and Andres Iniesta, who came third.

Lionel Messi had a wonderful year in 2012 with many records and achievements bagged by him on his name.Though his club Barcelona couldn't make much in the season but Messi was becoming outstanding with amazing performances.
His achievements 2012 includes:
- Barca's all-time leading goal scorer in official matches
-Most goals in UEFA Champions League in a single season(14 goals)
-Record for Most goals in a year in all competitions (91 goals) breaking record of Gerd Muller(85 goals)
Also Abby Wambach of United States received the FIFA Women's Player Of the Year
Award 2012.
Vicente Del Bosque of Spain received FIFA World Coach of the year
2012 for Men's Football .
Also Pia Sundhage of Sweden received the FIFA World Coach of the Year 2012 for Women's Football.
