Adobe upgraded Creative Suite to Subscription based Creative Cloud
Adobe made most of us look like professionals with their most admired product the Creative Suite.Photoshop being my favorite but now its hard to know that Adobe Creative Suite will no longer be available as desktop software.Adobe has abandoned the desktop software version of Creative Suite as a part of its transition to a new subscription only based Creative Cloud.
Users will no longer be able to buy or upgrade their Creative suite softwares like Photoshop,InDesign,Illustrator,Dreamweaver ,Premium Pro,instead they will have to pay a monthly subscription to use these softwares. Adobe have been constantly adding new features to its Cloud version the Creative Cloud, all the latest updates will only be available in the cloud.
Adobe launched Creative Cloud in last April and has half million users now.Adobe announced the subscription charges for Creative Cloud, users have to pay $50 per month for subscription to Cloud. But for those having a serial number for CS3 or higher have to pay only $30 per month for the first year or $20 per application.Adobe also announced special pricing for multiple users and education users.
The brand CS will be changed to CC from now but there won't be any change in design and use of programs in it.Adobe will be selling CS6 hardcopies for now but there won't be any upgrades available and you have to move on to Cloud to have the latest updates and features.
