Now Make Your Payments Through Gmail

Google has introduced one more additional feature to its Gmail,a money sending option through emails.According to Google,now making payments are lot easier as you only have to perform a three step activity to send money to anyone.

The new feature in Gmail works in combination with the Google's payment product Google Wallet.To send money through email you need to have an account in Google Wallet.But to receive money there is no need to have a Gmail address.The service is absolutely free for those having a Google Wallet linked account or for those using a Google Wallet balance.It is also possible to use your credit or debit card to make transactions but this would cost you a fee of about 2.9%  per transaction.

To send money in Gmail,a new $ icon is added to the attachment area.Just go the attachments area,click on the $ icon to attach the money to with your mail,then enter the amount to be send,press send.You are done.


Security concerns have been raised by someone as Google follows a simple authentication steps to send money but Google ensures that their transactions are saved in secured servers and Google Wallet Purchase Protection covers users  100% against eligible unauthorized payments.

The service will be available to U.S. Gmail users of above 18 in the coming months,said Google Wallet Product manager,Travis Green.For now the service will be available for desktops only and mobile and laptop users have can use the Google wallet for money transfer. The service will be available for everyone soon and look for the $ icon on your attachment tray.
